BBMP Guidelines

On 26th July, the BBMP issued guidelines for allowing pets in housing societies in Bengaluru, ensuring that  RWA and apartment associations cannot ban pets within housing societies. This directive aims to safeguard the rights of the animals.

The larger residential complexes have approved this directive. These complexes are constructing designated play areas for pets. The smaller complexes disagree with this directive, stating that keeping the pets in close areas makes them aggressive.
